how I work
I like to come to things with a beginner’s mind - a good piece of advice from one of my Breathwork trainers that has served as a good reminder to me even when I am doing something familiar. I also place huge value on collective wisdom that comes when we are willing to share, be vulnerable and know there is always room for expansion in our knowledge, practice and wellbeing.
I am a natural introvert, so it might come as a surprise that I particulalry enjoy facilitating groups! I find sitting in circle nourishing and invite my groups to gather in circle at the end of breathwork sessions, it is a powerful way to share, speak, listen and be heard.
I work with the Wheel of the Year and lean into it’s wisdom; cyclical living with my menstrual cycle and the cycles of nature is deeply nourishing.
I use active and reflective listening practices throughout all my work. I also employ mirroring in my work when I need to call upon it. Through experiential learning, immersed in nature and with the Four Shields of Human Nature as the container, this way of listening emerged and it deeply touches the soul.

“I will not rescue you.
For you are not powerless.
I will not fix you,
For you are not broken.
I will not heal you,
For I see you, in your wholeness.
I will walk with you through the darkness,
As you remember your light.”
Sheree Bliss Tilsley
This beautiful quote is really how I see my role in your healing journey. You already have everything within you that you need to heal. I am not doing the healing you are. My role is to help you discover that, to help you move through anything painful that might be holding you back and integrate it - for you are not broken.
I am an experienced group Facilitator - online and in person; I am a certified Conscious Connected Breathwork Facilitator, with 400hrs+ trauma informed training with Alchemy of Breath; I am level 2 in Sekhem – my teacher is Maya Ris; and I am a certified Rites for Girls Facilitator to run Girls Journeying Together groups - this work introduced me to Rites of Passage, ritual and ceremony. It has enriched my life ever since and something I often weave into my sessions whatever I am facilitating.
I was drawn to Conscious Connected Breathwork when I was walking in the dark; I knew I was evolving and needed to offer something more to the world so took a leap of faith to train as a CCB Facilitator. Although I covered the nervous system in my breathwork training, I became fascinated by it and wanted to go deeper. I am currently studying a certification course over the next few months and will add more as that unfolds. For now, just know that it is extending and deepening my existing knowledge of the nervous system and a truly vital addition to my work.
And just for fun…
I am mother to three, who I raise with my husband and my funny little dog, who takes me out into nature every day.
I love my garden and its trees, my houseplants, which I have more of than my family would like me to!
I love breathwork, I love community. I have an inner strength that has seen me through challenging times.
I try to practice compassion, self compassion and gratitude but have times when I find it challenging.
“Comparison is the thief of joy” (Roosevelt) guides me when I find myself staring into the abyss of comparison.
I love cold water, river, sea or plunge. I love saunas. Put the two together with friends an I am very happy.
I was born on a Spring Equinox.
I love the turning of the seasons and my favourite season is usually the one I am in!
I don’t have it all figured out!
